I am Jenonise Nomvumiso Noni. I matriculated from De Rust High School in the year 2012. Applied to University of the Free State in January 2013 and got accepted to study a Bachelor of Administration (Public Administration and Management) degree through their University Preparation Programme at South Cape College Oudtshoorn.
My family could not afford to pay for my studies but with the help of Mr Kamffer, our lecturer at the time, I managed to get a bursary from Oudtshoorn Business Chamber and sponsors from Alphen aan den Rijn to complete my year at South Cape College.
In February 2014 my second year of studies at the University of the Free State Bloemfontein Campus commenced where two years of my studies were funded by NSFAS and my final year by the Western Cape Provincial Treasury. I am proud to say that I obtained my degree at the University of the Free State Bloemfontein campus in December 2016.
I started with a 12 month graduate programme on 3 April 2017 at the Western Cape Provincial Government, Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport.
I am eternally grateful for the financial assistance I got from our sponsors from the Netherlands and to Mr Kamffer for the academic advice he gave us.
